Beyond the Stone: Why Resurrection Power Means You Must Dream Bigger

We have all had those seasons where we feel like we are just trying to "survive the tomb." We are managing the grief of a closed door, trying to roll away the heavy stones of debt or doubt, and just hoping for enough strength to get through the week.
But on this Thankful Thursday, I want to challenge you to shift your gratitude.
It is one thing to be thankful that Jesus died for your sins; it is another thing entirely to be thankful that the exact same power that brought Him out of the grave is currently pulsing through your veins.
The Power in Your DNA: Romans 8:11
As women, we often operate out of our own reserves. We rely on our grit, our education, our multitasking skills, and our morning coffee. But the Bible gives us a "power-shift" that should change the way we approach our businesses, our families, and our futures:
"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." — Romans 8:11
Think about the magnitude of that statement. The Resurrection wasn't just a historical event meant for a textbook; it was a DNA transfer. If you are a woman of faith, you are a carrier of Resurrection Energy.
From "Survival" to "Sovereignty"
When the women went to the tomb on that first Easter morning, they were carrying spices to anoint a corpse. They were prepared for the finality of death. They were dreaming small—simply hoping someone would help them move a rock.
How often do we do the same?
We pray for "just enough" to pay the bills.
We dream of a "small win" just to keep us going.
We ask for "relief" instead of Restoration.
Resurrection power doesn't just bring you back to zero. It doesn't just give you a "second chance" to try again in your own strength. It shatters the ceiling of what you thought was possible.
Why a Fearless Female Dreams Bigger
Being Fearlessly Female means recognizing that your capacity is not defined by your bank account, your past mistakes, or your current "situation." Your capacity is defined by the Spirit living within you.
When you realize that the Spirit that defeated death is at work in your mind, you stop asking "Can I do this?" and start asking "Lord, how big do You want to go?"
Gratitude is the bridge to that bigger dream. When we are thankful for the "Immeasurably More" (Ephesians 3:20) before we even see it, we are operating in Resurrection sight. We are looking at a closed tomb and seeing an open door.
I want you to take a moment today to sit with this Truth. Grab your journal and ask yourself these three questions:
What "spices" am I still carrying? (What preparations for failure or "small thinking" am I holding onto because I’m afraid to dream bigger?)
Where do I need "Resurrection Energy" today? (Is it in your health, your business, or a relationship that feels like it’s in a tomb?)
What is one "impossible" dream I would pursue if I fully believed Romans 8:11 was true?
The Declaration
Close your eyes and say this out loud:
"I am a carrier of Resurrection Power. I refuse to live a 'small' life because the God who lives in me is limitless. I am thankful for the divine momentum shifting my situation and my sight. I am stepping into my mission with bold, fearless, and resurrected vision!"
Today, don't just be thankful for the Cross. Be thankful for the Power that came after it.
What "Resurrection-sized" dream are you thanking God for today? Share it in the comments—let’s declare it together!
